Self Post Graduate Programme Review Visit Quality Enhancement Cell in Government College University Faisalabad organized Self Post Graduate Programme Review on 20-21 March 2023. The Review Visit aimed to evaluate MPhil and PhD programme run in the departments of Chemistry, Food Science and Technology, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Arabic, and Urdu. The external assessment team member for the PGPR was Dr. Zeeshan Khan, Director QEC, University of Faisalabad. Dr. Zill-i- Huma Nazli Pro-Vice Chancellor GCWUF and Dr. Aasma Khalid Director QEC GCWUF were internal assessment team members. Dr. Aasma Khalid, Director QEC GCWUF welcomed the guest evaluator and introduced him with MPhil and PhD programmes in the Government College Women University Faisalabad and HoDs presented their programme details, students information, course files, MPhil and PhD faculty detail, teaching and research facilities, lab equipment detail etc. The evaluator reviewed programme details and guided the Heads of all concerned departments about issues related with qualification and allocation of research supervisors, scheme of studies, courses allocation, ratio of major and minor courses, and many other procedural dynamics. The review highlighted strengths and deficiencies in all programmes. The evaluator remained insightful in reviewing details of programmes and provided very positive feedback on these.
